Actually, this page is not about Finland proper. It is more about the territories long being disputed between Finland and Russia and finally lost by Finland in the 20th century.

 

According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, there are no outstanding territorial disputes between the Russian Federation and Finland at the moment. The current Finnish government seems to share that point of view; however not all the Finns do.

 

This site does not support or denounce any territorial claims. Neither does its Author.  Our goal here is limited to the basic fact-finding. All the rest belongs to the sphere of politics. Not Political Science or History.
